  •  Then, grind the flaxseeds into a fine powder using a clean coffee grinder or food processor. Grinding the seeds increases the surface area, allowing for better oil extraction.
  •  Place the ground flaxseeds in a clean, dry skillet or saucepan. Heat the skillet over low to medium heat, stirring continuously to prevent burning.
  •  As the seeds heat up, they will release their oil. Continue stirring and heating until the seeds turn slightly golden brown.
  •  Now, remove the skillet from the heat and let the seeds cool slightly.
  • Transfer the toasted seeds to a clean, dry cloth or cheesecloth and squeeze out the oil. Collect the oil in a clean container.
